My friend studied in Shanghai for a year in the ’80s and the photos I still have show a lowrise, scrappy city! Amazing! I am awaiting word for a job offer there to spend a year there and leave Paris, France. I am American. Uprated.

I don’t really think that’s something you can say :/ both are spectacularly beautiful countries with deep culture and history. I don’t think you should compare countries to the extent where one is “better” than the other, it’s just you prefer China to India. Although, go look at a similar video on Delhi or wherever, and you’ll find it very similar to this.

Yes but don’t forget that India was influenced by the British. India created their legal system based on the British, and they helped India build railroads. China, on the other hand, was solely responsible for their achievements. Nobody helped them build the great wall, nobody helped them build their nuclear arsenal, nobody helped them create gunpowder or paper or even china(bowls, plates, etc.). Btw, ever heard of a popular India restaurant? LOL me neither.

Yes, but being influenced by a country isn’t always a bad thing. India was part of the British Empire but that doesn’t mean that its current legal/political system is shameful. If you’re using that logic, you should also apply it to Hong Kong, are you saying that’s also ‘inferior’ to China? As for nobody helping China, you should take a look at the countries they forced into helping them with their advances (Tibet, for one, how many raw materials do you think they took from it?).

Oh, as for a famous Indian restaurant, yes I have. The Blue Elephant company is one of the most high class Indian/Asian restaurant chains out there. I don’t mean to be rude because of course China can be your favourite country, just don’t go saying it’s better than others, because that’s not the case, and it does have countless faults too. :/
